Healing and the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966
Healing - channelling healing energy through the hands from a universal source of energy - should not be used as a substitute for veterinary care and attention.
Please note that Paragraph 18 of Part 2F of the RCVS Guide to Professional Conduct, provides information including that all animals must be seen by a veterinary surgeon, and that the vet must be content for healing to be given by the laying on of hands.
With any concerns that you may have about an animals' health or wellbeing, your first port of call must be a veterinarian. Only a vet may make a diagnosis, or prescribe.
If you want to book Jane for a healing session, we would advise you first to ask your veterinary surgeon for approval for this therapy to take place.
Animal Healing
Animals are highly instinctive and intuitive and therefore very receptive to healing.
Like people, animals also suffer from stress and dis-ease which can affect their physical and emotional well being. Healing works on all three levels, the emotional, physical and mental. In many cases physical ailments are as a result of dis-ease or stress. Therefore healing works to clear blocks and to promote well being throughout.
People who have received healing treatments from me have often described it as an incredibly peaceful experience. This is none more evident than when you watch an animal receive a healing.
Most animals go into a deep state of relaxation. To see an example of this see one of my recent clients here. An animal will also respond in any or all of the following ways as signals of release; Yawning, chewing, licking, twitching and postural stretches.
However it is not uncommon for animals to also move around and occasionally appear restless whilst receiving healing.
Domesticated animals do not always live in the most natural way, their quality of life is in the hands of their carers. Therefore they have to adapt and compensate by absorbing stress internally rather than releasing it naturally. Over time, unresolved stress can lead to physical problems and behavioural difficulties, such as defensiveness, nervousness, aggression, over excitability and withdrawal.
Healing works at all levels and allows the animal to release and let go of harboured stress and dis-ease to return to a balanced state of being.
I have had the absolute honour to work with both people and animals who are approaching end of life. Healing through to passing, brings much peace at the time of release.
I do not diagnose, I adhere to the veterinary act , if your animal is unwell it is advisable to always contact a vet before a healer.
Healing can be incredibly effective when used alongside conventional medicine and more and more vets are supportive of healing techniques.
